2016-2017 Anti Bullying Bill of Rights Act Grades

As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L.2010, c.122), the Belleville Public Schools has posted its 2015-2016 Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act Grades to the school district's HIB webpage, and to each individual school's webpage. Please feel free to contact Ms. Nicole Facchinei, Anti-Bullying Coordinator (nicole.facchinei@belleville.k12.nj.us) if you have any questions.

Under the Commissioner's Program, the school grade is a raw score of data and the sum of all the ratings for all indicators within each core element on the School Self-Assessment (e.g., 65 of 78 points). The maximum total score for a school is 78 points. The school district's grade is an average of the total scores of all schools in the school district. The department issued grade is not represented as a letter grade. The NJ Department of Education is not issuing any associated value or ranking for the raw and average scores. The raw and average scores reflect the school and school district's degree of compliance with the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR), as determined primarily through each school's self-assessment of its implementation of the ABR.

2017-2018 School Performance Reports

We are excited to share these valuable resources with communities. The reports share with students, families, educators and the public over three hundred data points that together build a picture of overall school performance. We encourage communities to use these reports to support conversations toward improved teaching, leading and learning, and more equitable access to an excellent education for all New Jersey students.
